The origin of Truverra
In 2010, Truverra co-founders became passionate about the scientific developments in cannabinoid and terpene research. With over 130 cannabinoids and over 200 terpenes discovered in the past 50 years, the team believed that we were only beginning to understand the ways that these remarkable compounds interact with the body.
In Canada, the team was focused on the budding legal market and developing a 5,000 square-foot Health Canada licensed facility in Scarborough, ON. The state-of-the-art facility, not only conducted research but also produced high-quality cannabis extracts, including concentrates and vaping liquids.
Constantly developing and growing, Truverra first launched a portfolio of high-quality CBD products select European markets. Focusing on hemp derived CBD products, the line up included capsules, balms, tinctures and vapable oils.
In 2019, Supreme Cannabis closed on the acquisition of Truverra and began the transition the team to focus on medical cannabis sales in Canada and internationally.
